I'm getting regular errors with Photoshop CC and some other applications which result in a crash of the application which is accompanied by an error code 1000 in the event log. I set up a task in the event log to notify me of each error 1000, which confirms when these applications crash (usually in the 'save as' dialog), that this is the event code linked to that crash. The event code does also appear intermittently at other times. Is there a cause of the error code and what do I need to do to fix it?
